Privacy policy

GaspCam is a local camera app. It has no account system, backend, advertising, analytics or runtime AI. We do not receive your photos, video clips, imported content or usage information through the app.
On your device
Imported images/GIFs, custom text, captures and reference cards are stored in private app storage on your iPhone, excluded from device backups. You can delete captures in My shots and imports/text in Settings. Uninstalling removes this local library. Items saved to Photos or sent through another service are separate copies, managed through that destination.
Permissions
Camera permission is used for photos and visible, silent reaction clips. Add Photos permission is requested only when you choose Save original to Photos. The system Photos picker passes only the items you select to GaspCam. The app does not request microphone, contacts, location, tracking or broad photo-library read access.
Purchases
Apple processes the upfront app purchase and may handle payment and transaction data under Apple's privacy policy. GaspCam contains no in-app purchases or subscriptions and does not operate a payment or receipt server.
Sharing and feedback
The app sends content outside its storage only through actions you choose, such as saving to Photos, sharing an original or layout, or sharing feedback. Photos may sync according to your Photos/iCloud settings. Feedback includes the text you type and app version; no images or diagnostics are attached automatically. The recipient and service you choose process that feedback. Support replies require your contact information, which you choose to supply. No marketing lists are created by the app.
Recording
Reveal + Capture starts a short silent clip before the reveal. Both the photographer UI and subject stage display a recording indicator. Tell your subject before capture. You can stop early; an interrupted clip may remain in My shots for review or deletion.
This website
This site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The hosting provider processes technical request information to deliver and protect these pages.
